40th year anniversary!

Picnic from Noon - 7pm.
One week left to go for a great Sunday afternoon celebration. We look forward to the day’s events beginning with a special celebration mass at 11am. Joining us will be some of the people who have helped make St. Ronald Parish what it is today...past pastors including Fr. Richard Cyr, Fr. Lawrence Fares, and Fr. Jim Andres, OFM, Cap.
The picnic starts at noon and goes till 7pm on the parish grounds. We have lots planned including music and dancing starting at 1pm. Our plans include a kids area that includes games, prizes, cotton candy, and a very big inflatable bouncy toy! There will be a cash bar and a Big Wheel for those feeling lucky that day. DC Sports will be here with sports memorabilia for a silent auction. And of course, every great picnic includes horseshoes and ladder toss, bocci balls, a tug-of-war contest, a corn-on-the-cob eating contest, sack races, and a golf chipping contest.
We’ll have food, so come hungry! St. Ronald Parish will provide the hot dogs, Italian and Polish sausage, and a side dish. You’re invited to bring a dish to pass. If you get a chance, stop by the gathering area and let us know what you plan to bring.
At 5pm, we’ll have our Big Raffle drawing with a grand prize of $2,500. There’s still time to purchase raffle tickets. Remember if you sell 6 or more books of tickets, you’re entitled to a free engraved brick paver!
Although we only plan to lose 35 parking spots during the picnic, it may still be a bit of a challenge when parking. If you’re able to, please plan to park at Salk Elementary and/or carpool with family and friends. Once the picnic begins, the driveway on the west will be closed - follow the signs that will be posted. Remember to bring your lawn chairs or blankets.
There’s lots of things planned - something for everybody, so please come and enjoy the day with us!
