Dear Friends:

Advent begins November 27th this year. No matter how many Advents have come around in our lives, the
anticipation and promise never grows old. We have many events planned to make the preparation for Christmas both spiritual and enjoyable. Please take advantage of these opportunities to focus on the true meaning of the days ahead.

Little Books
The Advent Little Books will be available at all entrances to church beginning November 26. This book is a 6-minute daily reflection to use during this advent season.

Lunch with Santa

Advent Tea
Saturday, December 10
1pm in the parish hall
To reserve your spot, call the office today at 792-1190 or stop by. Reservations must be in by December 5th. Don’t delay! This is a special way to begin the busy Christmas season.

YOUTH GROUP EVENTS

Poinsettia Sale
December 3 & 4 in the Gathering Area
All proceeds will help the Youth Group attend retreats and conferences.

Coat Drive
December 3 & 4
We are collecting new or gently used coats. We are also collecting new scarves, mittens, and hats. Items will be donated to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit to be distributed amongst the homeless.\

Annual Toy Drive (New Toys Only Please)
December 3 & 4
Toys will be collected in the Gathering Area. The toys will be distributed amongst various agencies within our local community.
