State of the Parish Report

Posted on 4/8/2011 by Paul Silvestri: [teaser]

In order to know where we stand, we must remember where we came from…

This current fiscal year (July 2010—June 2011) has been a financial struggle for our parish. When the 2010-2011 budget was prepared, we anticipated about $8,500 in weekly offertory collections. However, we average $7,300/weekly. This has had an impact on us. We have made adjustments to accommodate for the loss of revenue.

We must thank you, the parishioners, who contribute financially to this parish. So many give without questioning
how the funds are spent. Thank you for trusting in us. We want you to know that every dollar that is given to this
parish is put to use in the most economical and responsible way possible.

We ask that you reflect on your weekly offertory and prayerfully consider increasing your contributions if you are
able to do so. We have parishioners who have chosen to set up direct withdrawals from their bank accounts. By
doing this, a parishioner is able to have their contributions directly withdrawn out of their checking or savings
account on a weekly or monthly basis. If you would like to know more about this, ask your banker or call me at the
parish office. We are also looking into other ways to make giving more convenient for you.

Together, we can continue to do great things here at St. Ronald’s. Thanks to your commitment to our parish.
