St. Ronald holds quartely blood drives periodically in the Social Hall. The American Red Cross guidelines suggest you can donate every two months. Start now to prepare yourself to donate by eating healthy.  Look for more information in the church bulletin as the blood drive approaches. Sign-up sheets will be available with blood drive volunteers several weeks before the drive is to take place. Please consider donating blood at St. Ronald.  For more details call the parish office, (586)792-1190.

CAPUCHIN SOUP KITCHEN

Meal Program

The two kitchen/dining room sites serve full-course, nutritious meals to hundreds of men, women, and children each day. While monetary donations are gratefully accepted, no one is denied a meal because of their inability to pay. There is no eligibility criteria, and meals are served in spacious, clean and attractive settings.

Whereas a portion of the food prepared and served in the kitchens is donated, the major part is purchased, preferably from Michigan producers. Both locations strive to be mindful of environmental concerns by composting organic food waste, and utilizing recyclable consumables and “earth-friendly” cleaning products.

St Ronald parish members volunteer to serve dinner the first and fourth Wednesday of each month at 4390 Conner Detroit, MI 48215. Car pools leave from St Ronald parking lot at 3pm and return at approximately 6:30pm. To learn more or to volunteer please contact Pat Martin at (586) 294- 3124.

COMMUNITY SUPPER

ST. RONALD  COMMUNITY SUPPER

St. Ronald provides a free meal the first Thursday of each month for those in the community who are struggling financially.  We have been averaging around 100 guests at each meal. The purpose is truly a simple one:  to provide hospitality, community outreach, fellowship, and a supper time evening together.  It is open to parishioners and non-parishioners alike.  The meal is prepared/served by a network of St. Ronald parishioners. We welcome help in other areas too: set-up, serving and clean up. We especially invite our jr.high/high school teens to volunteer to help! For high school students who need hours for community service, this would be an excellent opportunity
